Angela Gerrard Art Studio
Angela is a busy mother of four children. Angela is a full time artist, working in her home studio gallery in Beaufort, Victoria.
Having created all manner of art and craft throughout her life, she now finds relaxation and enjoyment in the time she devotes each week to creating art.
Angela has a passion for pastel painting, she loves the vivid color, the softness and the textures created with pastel. Angela loves to show personality and expression through all her artwork. She also loves the free flowing lines and detail created when working with pen and ink and a hint of watercolour and the boldness of artworks using charcoal.
Angela has spent the past two years building a studio gallery which forms a friendly working art space and gallery. During this time Angela has continued to make art using a range of media, but her main passion continues to be pastel. Artwork by Angela Gerrard can currently be viewed in her studio at 188 Stockyard Hill Road, Beaufort.
Angela began developing her pastel art over 12 years ago with the help of her then teacher and now mentor; internationally acclaimed wildlife artist, Steve Morvell whom she recently completed an art apprenticeship with.
Angela is now passing on her love of art and working with pastel to students in weekly art classes held in her Beaufort Studio Gallery. Her works have been shown in a variety of exhibitions and have been recognised with a number of awards including Second Place for the ‘Best Pastel’ and the ‘Best Pyrenees Artist’ Award at Pyrenees Art Exhibition and Sale First Place for ‘Best Pastel’ at the 2017 Beaufort Art Show.
Angela will open her Gallery on Mondays and at other times By Appointment.
