Built in 1930, Rose+Vine is the Pyrenees Wine Region’s newest luxury experience. Nestled on the outskirts of historic township Avoca, a leisurely 2-hour drive from Melbourne at the heart of Victoria’s award-winning wineries and mountain ranges.

Where curated vintage pieces fuse with modern designer touches, to entice a feast of the senses and a curious connection to yesteryear.

Set on ½ acre of peaceful surrounds with a quintessential wrap around verandah, Rose+Vine is an adult’s only retreat consisting of 2 generous sized bedrooms. The first bedroom with a King size bed and the second bedroom with a Queen, both beds fitted out with luxurious French linen and high quality Microcloud bedding. Swoon worthy chequered tiles adorn the main bathroom featuring a large walk in shower. Relax by the wood fire in the living area or retreat to the reading room for a quiet spot to sit and read a book or to unwind. An old-world open plan kitchen and dining area awaits to the rear of the house. Featuring modern dark tones, antique brass finishes, farmhouse style sink, café curtains and timber benchtops that work playfully with delicate scallop tiles, feature wallpaper and the original cast-iron wood stove.

Our large backyard is the perfect space to wind down and savour the calm of country life. After a long day of exploring it’s time to sit back and relax with a wine by the fire pit to the tune birdsong overhead. Treat yourself to a luxurious slow soak in the outdoor bath under the changing colours of the evening skies. Enjoy a quiet coffee from the front verandah as the morning light reveals the glorious mountain ranges afar. Create memorable intimate dinners under the glistening magic of fairy lights of our rustic potting shed. Ample off-street parking is also included.

A laid-back 10-minute stroll, around the bend and over the bridge, will have you on the main street with access to cafes, shops, antiquities, and the ever-popular Avoca Hotel.

Stay in Avoca to experience one of western Victoria’s most charming small towns. The perfect base to explore the renowned Pyrenees wine region and Silo Art Trail. Choose from 20+ wineries, most within 30km of your stay. Surrounded by the Pyrenees Mountain Ranges, our more adventurous guests can enjoy mountain biking, hiking and camping along the many tracks suited to all fitness levels.

The house is private and available for exclusive use for our guests. The perfect intimate getaway, girls’ weekend or memorable location shoot. Curated vintage pieces, open fires and an expansive open street frontage result in an adult only retreat. Children and pets are not permitted.
