Amherst Winery is family owned and operated, with the family involved in all aspects of the growing, winemaking, and sales of the wine. Since the first commercial release of shiraz in 1995 Amherst has gained a reputation for our fine hand crafted wines and has achieved a 5-star rating in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion for the last 2 years.
