Pyrenees Unearthed Festival
April 17 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pyrenees Unearthed is hosted by the Pyrenees Grapegrowers and Winemakers Association.
A beautiful day out under the shady trees along the Avoca River. Where you can buy from all wineries of the Pyrenees, all in one location. Taste the fantastic award-winning wines that the Pyrenees wine region is famous for. A day of wine, food and music!
Next scheduled for Saturday 17th of April 2021, the event will be held between 11 am and 5 pm. Follow this page to find out more details.
Meet the winemakers who make your favourite wines. Book in for a masterclass and learn more. And there are free creative activities for the kids. Lots of shady trees to roll out your picnic blanket, and listen to the groovy tunes. Delicious local preserves and produce on sale. It’s all about showcasing the best of the Pyrenees. Discover surprising stalls like, handmade perfumes extracted from locally grown plants; or may be locally made sweets. Put your vote in for your favourite wine at the “People’s Choice Award”, and be in the draw to win that actual wine!
And before the day is done, you can join in the annual rare wine auction. The winemakers have gone to the back of their cellars and pulled out some rare gems, something you can’t buy anywhere in a shop, or online. You have to be there at Pyrenees Unearthed to pick up these unique wines; and bid to win. This is your chance to pick up a rare release wine – a wonderful gift, or a treasure in your own wine collection.
Children entry by gold coin donation. Please note, due to COVID19 limitations patron capacity is limited and tickets are available on a first in, best dressed basis.
See you by the riverside for Pyrenees Unearthed 2021!
