How important has your phone been to you during COVID-19 Isolation?
During Covid-19 Lockdown, the mobile phone has been a lifeline to family and friends, has connected us via social media, has enabled us to work/home school from home and capture the special, quirky and ridiculous moments of lockdown.
Arts and Gardens wishes to capture & preserve these snapshots of the Avoca & District community that reflect personal experiences as residents bunkered down over the last 100 days of isolation.
Up to 3 high resolution images from your mobile phone can be emailed to artsavoca@gmail.com along with wording to explain your choice (up to 20 words).
The top 100 images will be projected onto a large outdoor screen for the community to vote for their favorite snap. Winning photographer to receive a major prize. All photos will be displayed in Gallery 127, on the Arts Avoca social media pages, and will be printed in a photo book.
NOTE: You do not need to be a professional photographer to enter. We would like to see a diverse range of entries that captures isolation in the Avoca district.
Entries close 5pm, 18th September 2020 Start sorting through your photos for 2 or 3 special lockdown images from your phone and share them with the community.
