“Grayling’s Gift is nothing short of incredible”.
Immerse yourself in the picturesque surrounds of the Pyrenees Region as you discover a calm you never knew existed at Grayling’s Gift. Steeped in history and charm, this 19th-century church has been lovingly transformed into a short-term accommodation space which boasts the wonders of yesteryear and the comforts of today. Over 140 years old, Grayling’s Gift was built on land donated to the community by William Grayling – a descendent of one of the Pyrenees Shire’s first pioneering families.
Restored through an ethos of sustainability, the humble red-brick building has been renovated, redesigned, and styled by husband-and-wife duo Annie and Shane Brereton using mostly recycled materials. Featuring a vintage clawfoot bathtub, Chesterfield lounge, antique decor and stained glass windows, the accommodation space combines the glory of the past with elements of pure luxury to create a stay that is contemporary, calming and indulgent.
